While on our walk last week, we saw Dog Town'a big food truck pull up to the sidewalk and park. Right at that moment, I was intrigued. My friend asked about the serving schedule of the truck and whadayaknow? They'll be right across the street from my (ex-)office from 11:30am until 2:30pm.
My friend and I wanted our own tater tots and so we decided to share hotdog sandwich. This is not the first time we've done this by the way. Haha! We picked the California Dog, it has avocado, arugula, basil aioli, tomatoes, crispy onions, and light vinaigrette.
The hotdog was okay. To tell you the truth, I expected more from them. If you're in the hotdog business, I would think that they would pick the best beef dog you can find but this one isn't that. I've had a better hotdog sandwich experience for less than $3 dollars. I'm looking at you Costco and the hotdog guy on Maple and 11th in the Fashion District!
As for the tater tots, I guess I'll just say, you can never go wrong with choosing tater tots as the side for your meal. :)
