A Very California Autumn

Top: Foreign Exchange. Kimono: Marshalls. Bag: F21. Shoes: Tieks. Shorts: Borrowed nearly a decade ago (I was about 17 or 18) from one of my best friends from high school. LOL
This day was a let down--weatherwise. I thought it would be colder but once you cross the street from where we stood, my kimono had to be off. I can't wait until the wet weather they were talking about in the news comes. I am having pretty serious weather envy.

Necklace: UO. Tank: Loft. Blazer and pants: H&M. Flats: Tieks.
I go crazy before any exam. Same day I took my second Statistics exam where I blanked out in the last item, I got an email invite to the Honors Program Orientation of my school. Kind of love that my academic performance is finally being recognized because when I was in elementary and high school, all teachers saw were what we all did wrong and only the smart ones were expected to be smart. No I won't be attending the orientation in case you're wondering...or maybe I will?

Tribal Print Pants

Wore these pants as soon as I can so there is no turning back and returning them. Anyway, a lot of my clothes have ran big on me already that I'm thinking of having a garage sale - maybe I can convince my friends to do this together. I really need to let go of the big clothes so I don't fall into the "it's okay I still have clothes that fit" hole. I'll keep one pair of pants though, to remind myself of how out of shape I was.

In other news, my husband has a strained lower back. His movements are so limited and whenever he gets up, he has do it slowly or else he'll make his ouch face and slowly rests his back again. Poor guy. Hopefully he gets better before his basketball game on Saturday.

PS Happy birthday to my sister-in-law, Epi! So happy to have known someone who is almost as giddy about shopping as me, loves everything I make, loves my sister this much *hold arms out,* keeps my mom full, makes amazing food for the gods, is as obsessed as me about getting fit, is always on the same page on where I stand on things, always has my back and as big of a grandpa and grandma's girl as myself. Love you!

Ron has always had issues with printed pants. No is always the answer whenever I ask him if it looks good. It's not that he does not want me to express my creativity through dressing up, I think he just doesn't want me to look ridiculous and take "being fashionable" to the Lady Gaga level. LOL He does NOT like Lady Gaga at all. He's also not exactly that guy who does not care about what his girl wears. He expresses his opinions about my outfits like I do with his.

In addition, I also take pictures of myself to show him the stuff I try on. Now please excuse the tummy. Hahaha!

I love all the pieces I am wearing here. Like they say, don't buy it unless you love it! ;)

The watch is one of the Christmas presents I got from Ron. I have been itching to wear it buy it's two links too big and I always forget to bring it with me when I go to the mall. I finally got it re-sized on Easter Sunday when I actually went to the mall with my bare wrist so I can wear it right away. Haha!

February is My Favorite Month to be Lazy

Bag: JustFab. Boots: Steve Madden. Jacket: PacSun. Jeans: F21. Shirt: I cannot remember.

Laziness has been hanging out a lot in my body this month. It’s been freezing in LA and I've been taking advantage of the weather. Hiding under the sheets in my workout clothes has become a part of my routine when I get home after work. I haven’t buffed my nails nor painted my toenails for weeks now. I've been lucky that Ron has been craving food that we can just buy somewhere instead of me making it. Have you guys ever had those days when all you want to do is sleep in, stay in bed, read a book, watch TV and eat fruits and chocolates in bed? It has gotten to a point where I've been eating chicken and salad for lunch everyday and I don't get tired of it. What exhausts me is thinking of what I should eat for lunch the next day. Today, I will have a Protein Style Hamburger from In N Out because Ron gave me a gift card. See, easy.

Have a great weekend, friends.

PS, you can view our wedding pictures HERE. ;)

Got this Forever 21 skirt recently and I could't wait to wear it. The day I got it, I already picked pieces that I can wear it with and made sure to hang it next to it.

Today was a gorgeous day, overcast till noon then sunny and fresh after that.
How's the weather in your city?
