I took 4 days off of work this week for Ron's birthday week. Unfortunately, he had to work 2 days of those 4 days, the silver lining is that I had alone time and was able to do our laundry without any hiccups. During this break, it felt like Ron and I were drawn closer to each other. We have not spent this much time together in a while because he can't take as many days off as I can. We drove an hour and a half out of LA to eat crabs & go outlet shopping, we also got to drive around the San Gabriel Valley looking for supplies for the business we want to start.
This break made me realize that when everything else is falling apart, there is something else that I can make stronger and my marriage is one of them. I was just at a bridal shower yesterday and I am still amazed by how two people find each other, fall in love and decide to spend their lives together. Life is good.
