Hair: Bun, Alfalfa style! Hahaha!
Dress: Target
Boots: Studio Pollini (the picture lied, the boots are actually dark brown)
Scarf: D&Y |
Would you believe that I have NOT worn this dress in real life yet? Yep, I've tried it on so many times but when I get ready in the morning, it never feels right to wear it. On another note, this week has been insanely busy. There's just so much stuff to do and think about. I have NOT even read any of my emails. I was not prepared but I'm pretty sure I can handle this ish. Oh and I will be announcing the winner of the Facebook this week!
Anyway, I finally got to bake the Brown Sugar Oatmeal cookies I was talking about in
this post! It's super easy, I think the only tough part is washing everything you used ;)
You Need:
1 3/4 cups packed brown sugar
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- if you don't have time to soften the butter, you can grate it like I did!
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 cups old-fashioned oats
What you need to do:
Heat the oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl, beat brown sugar and butter with electric mixer on medium speed, scraping bowl occasionally, until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla and eggs until well blended.
On low speed, beat in flour and baking powder, scraping bowl occasionally, until well combined. Stir in oats.
On ungreased cookie sheets, drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart. Flatten cookies to about 1/2-inch thickness.
Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks.
