We've Already Been Tricked + Last Minute Costume

Ron and I have already been tricked today by no other than Chippy, the poop and pee culprit! I woke up with number 2 by the bedroom door and number 1 next to it. I guess no more rawhide for the little monster.

On the brighter side, I have a last minute costume idea if you are still on the hunt for a good costume. All you need is a chambray top, a red bandana, hairpins and red lipstick. Now who doesn't have that at home? Well, maybe the red bandana is not for everyone but you can always cut a triangle from that old red T-shirt you have not worn for years at the bottom of your closet, right? Presenting, Rosie the Riveter!

WE CAN DO IT!

I know, I am missing the hand holding the sleeve but I was holding the "trick" in a bag in my other hand so I can take it out. Haha! Anyway, HAPPY HALLOWEEN! :D

All Dressed Up for Halloween Yet?

I never celebrated Halloween in the Philippines. We usually celebrate All Souls' Day and spend the day at the cemetery. Weird and a little creepy, right? Anyway, when I moved here in the US, I made sure to dress up and experience Halloween. So here are what I've worn in '08, '09 and '10...

In 2011, I thought I was over Halloween. It was just boring...or I just cannot remember what happened LOL This year, I'm dressing up as a devil or a vampire in our office party! Thanks to Ron who has an old vampire cape ;)

Halloween Costume Idea!

One week to go! What will you be this Halloween? Knowing that Halloween will be in the middle of the week, I definitely won't dress up this year... but I think I can be a good Sadako from the Ring (click HERE if you don't know who she is). See? ↓

LOL Okay for realsies, this is an outfit post, wore this when it got cold here in LA. I kind of really love this sweater and I can already feel that I would be wearing it ALL THE TIME.

Good Eats

Last weekend, I asked Ron if we can go eat at Hungry Fox, a breakfast restaurant my best friend told me about. He actually said yes and I got ecstatic so I ran to the shower to get ready. The food was great and it actually tasted homemade. I'd give it 4 stars.

Ron ordered the Chicken and Waffles plate while I tried the Pancake Plate with Bacon.

We also stopped by the infamous Porto's bakery to get cheese rolls for our friends in the Inland Empire. As we were looking at the glass case of baked goods, I was so amused with the Halloween themed desserts so I grabbed Ron's phone and took photos. :)

Cat Sugar Cookies, Haunted House Red Velvet Cake, Red Velvet Cupcake Eyes, and Candy Topped Chocolate Cupcakes with Chocolate frosting.

Halloween!

While walking around the swap meet last Sunday, easy, inexpensive costume ideas popped in my head. I had 3 ideas:

A Hobo - but since I live in LA where anybody can be a bum who walks around with a sign, I figured, I should keep my options open.

A bubble wrap person - but this meant i have to make sure my costume does not fall apart... (SOURCE)

Another choice was to be a piñata... And yes, I actually came to work as one ;) Thanks to Instructables.com for inspiring how I made my costume.
