Denim + Stripes

Dress: thrifted here. Boots: F21(similar). Jacket: Old Navy Kids (I wear XL).

I have not worn a denim jacket for soooo long and I mean decades. I don't know, it just reminded me of the 90s too much and the fades of denims back then were not very pretty. But let's just say I had a change of heart. Since spring is jean jacket season anyway, I thought it would be the perfect time to wear it again. I got this denim for only $17 from (get ready for this)...Old Navy's Girls section. No kidding you guys, I was surprised it fit me too. I'm 5'8" and wear Medium at F21 and their size XL fits me well.

Am I the only one who cannot believe it's April already? This year is flying by and it's pretty terrifying. I'm already done with one of my 8-week (turned-to-6-week) hybrid classes!!! Assuming I got 87 or higher in the test I took on Tuesday, I'd get an A in the class. But hey hey, Cs get degrees too! LOL On the the next one!

Wearing Booties Again

My booties are back in the "current" shoe rack from being in the closet for sooo long like how I am back to taking outfit pictures. The boots I'm wearing here have not been worn since January of this year. It has been that uneventful and hot since then but also, its lack of utility is because of  me being unemployed and not having a daily reason to dress up. In case you're wondering, the reason I'm OOTD-ing again is because I shed pounds and can fit in almost all of my clothes agaaain! *happy dance*

A Very California Autumn

Top: Foreign Exchange. Kimono: Marshalls. Bag: F21. Shoes: Tieks. Shorts: Borrowed nearly a decade ago (I was about 17 or 18) from one of my best friends from high school. LOL

This day was a let down--weatherwise. I thought it would be colder but once you cross the street from where we stood, my kimono had to be off. I can't wait until the wet weather they were talking about in the news comes. I am having pretty serious weather envy.

When I got my mint pants weeks ago, I looked for pinspiration and found these outfits. I have yet to try two because I have no top like that (the husband does not like it on me) and four because it's way too hot in LA now. Which one is your favorite? :)

Dress Weather

I'm SO ready to wear my dresses. The weather in LA is too weird sometimes too - too cold for dresses but too warm for boots. I don't exactly love summer because it's too hot for me, I just want the winter to spring transition to last as long as it could. If the 70-degree weather can stay, that would be really awesome.

This is my most favorite jacket ever. EVER. It's the comfiest warmest and I love the toggle buttons. So pretty. I was rushing one morning to work and could not find a jacket that matches what I'm wearing so I just grabbed the favorite one. I never mix prints with prints because I'm not that gutsy but this one kind of worked so I guess I'll continue doing it?

Fall Colors

My friends and I decided to go to Vegas while hanging out last Friday. Like one of them said, "It never happens when we plan it ahead."I'm so ready to go on a double date with them! :)

Have you guys noticed my obsession with Fall yet? Yes? Good. You're seriously going to drool over these outfits. They're super simple but they carry on the should-be comfyness of fall outfits! A Pantless Week

Yay me! I've successfully lasted a week without pants. I always wear jeans to work so this is a big deal. I've actually forgotten about the skirts I have until last weekend when I reorganized my closet. I found my mint skirt, brown houndstooth skirt and my other black skirts. I seriously felt that I scored when I found them!

I now have a new found love for skirts. I shall not forget that I wore a skirt everyday for 13 years because I went to Catholic schools from Nursery to Senior year - see for yourself here: Prep, Elementary, High School (aka the seriously awkward stage).

Oh and I've just discovered that my hair is long enough to be put up in a bun now! Oh yeaaah!
