After the Storm and Fifty Shades of Grey

Driving alone always gives me peace of mind and time to look and appreciate how pretty the sky is. I'm bad at describing things so when I saw the sky while driving after a recent storm here in LA, I reached in my purse to let my hand look for my camera and blindly took pictures.

I have been so into the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy that I have finished the first book in less than 48 hours. I think it's safe to say that I'm hooked and this is the first trilogy or series of books that I found really, really interesting. I heard that they're going to create an adaptation of the book - I don't think it's going to work unless they're going to bring soft pornography into pop culture.

Has anybody else read the book?

  9. I read that book because I've been seeing it everywhere. I don't know if I like it because I hated the lead girl. She's so needy and whiny and everything I don't like about many girls. Her character is unbelievable.

Although I did like the guy for the fact that he is a more believable character. Even if I absolutely hate Ana, I can't seem to put it down. Maybe this is what people call a guilty pleasure. I am now reading part 2.

    1. Ate Kath I agree with you, it's not well-written but I think it's because the author was from the UK and the setting was in Seattle - people in Seattle do not talk like the people in the book! Haha! But it IS really addicting to read, I've never read a book that fast! :)
