Shopping for a Wedding

My sister and her girl friend are going to a wedding in San Diego this weekend so of course, considering my obsession with shopping and finding great deals, I don't know who decided on it but I was their person to help find their outfits with. I was so thrilled because I never really get to shop with them and I love preparing for weddings! We had to have two separate trips to the mall with each of them - it was ideal since they have totally different styles.

I went to the mall with E (sister's gf) first. We went to the mall to find dresses. She tried on a bunch of stuff but because she's so petite, some (size) small dresses did not fit her right. There were only 3 that actually hugged her body - and she bought 2 of those!

A few days after the successful dress hunt, we looked for shoes at DSW! I pretty much fell in love with the ones she got. I could say they were love at first sight for me but since she does not wear heels that much, I didn't tell her how pretty they were and gave her the chance to look for more comfortable options. She had a tough decision to make but she picked the one I fell in love with!

Last night was the most challenging of this series of wedding attire shopping. I went shopping with my sister, J. She's no girly girl, she's like Ellen Degeneres...the younger version. She already knows her style so we headed to H&M to look for her kind of stuff. Since it's spring, we tried to pick out light or bright shirts - pink, light blue and red. She found a vest she liked and I found a pair of (kind of) maroon shoes that I'm still so obsessed with right now!

I wish I could be there to join them in San Diego so I can take pictures of their outfits but I really have to stay and help pack the bf's things from his soon-to-be ex-apartment. So bittersweet.
