I have recently just started and finished reading The Perks of Being of a Wallflower and right after that, I watched the movie as well. The title of this post is one of my favorite lines from the book and the movie as it means a lot about how we look at ourselves. The book inspired me to be more kind and understanding. To not judge people - except when they wear short shorts and boots in winter because that's just torture to one's self. The book made me think of my past relationship where I felt like I was asking for too much and I settled for what I thought I deserved. So that definitely ended. Then Ron came to my life and as our years together rolled on, he continued to show me what it was to be treated like a princess. We had a rocky start but hey, what matters is where we are now. We are happy, we're silly together and we're so very much in love. :)
This post is dedicated to...
-those who think that love conquers everything. It does but only of both of you are invested in the relationship.
-those who are still in search of their love.
-those who are afraid to be in a committed relationship. This sounds ridiculous but I think we all go through that phase in life.
-those who are having a hard time letting love in.
-those who are in a one sided relationship.
Great post. Love does not conquer all. You both need to do work, still, and put in the time.
