True story: I got this dress back in fall. Why would H&M carry a navy and white dress was beyond me so I waited for spring to wear it. Oh, and yes, the stripes are navy, not black.
Four weeks ago, Ron and I talked about getting chicken and waffles for Sunday brunch but funner things came up that we had to push our Roscoe's plan aside to make way. I am happy to report that I finished three quarters of my waffles and the crunchy part of the chicken breast that I got. (See second picture for fullness reference LOL).
In realer life news, my boss' last week starts today. I know I am sad but I also know that we all have to move on from this huge loss to our company. I have trust in our CEO that everything will work though so that's a good thing. :)

They really are! I love them, although when I wear them for too long (like 8+ hours), my feet get tired. But to think that I can wear them for 8+ hours is still a great thing :)

ReplyDeleteOmg. I won't be able to stop thinking about chicken and waffles now! Love that dress, but yeah it does seem a bit strange that H&M would carry it in the fall! Maybe their buyers are located in LA or somewhere warm?
ReplyDeleteI have this same dress in royal blue. I absolutely love it b/c I can wear it dressed up or down, just like you have it. H&M is always so on point with their non-expensive dresses like this! Also, it's a bit accomplishment to eat 3/4 of your chicken & waffles...I can barely get through 1/2. I commend you!

I love how you use the phrase "in realer news" lol! this dress is totally spring, but I find that sometimes stores carry items in the wrong season because of vacation sales. Like a "cruise" line. In any event it was a great buy and looks fab on you.
