I've had these pearl necklaces for more than a year now and I think I've only worn them once. This lace outfit however made the decision to wear them easy. It was like a perfect fit! As much as I love this top, I could not think of how other outfits wearing it so I returned it to the store. It's one of those moments when you really love something but it's just not meant to be. It's a little big on me too so I had to say bye-bye.

It's okay to own something pretty just because.
It's okay to get excited about something while at the store, not try it on, get home, try it on and decide you're going to return it...oh and while you're at it take an outfit photo. LOL
It's okay to not have arm candy all the time.
It's okay to accept that things are just not meant to be. Are you one of those people who think twice about buying something and say that if you come back and it's still at the store, it's meant to be and you'll buy it then? I am. ;)

    LOL I totally do that!! I can not count the number of times I've fallen in love with a piece of clothing then told myself that if it was still in the store when I came back some other day "it was meant to be." Too funny!!

    Yeah the problem for me though is having the energy to return it after I bought it. I've bought things in the past that I never wore, because I couldn't find the right coordinates. I still have a lot of them, and still hope to be able to wear them again. I try to look for things that are still going to be in style several years after I buy it. Pearls are timeless! They are definitely a good investment. I also try to find unique prints that no one will have a few years from the time. So, even though I may not have ever worn it when I originally bought it, it doesn't mean I never will.

    Nice "it's ok"-list. I'm totally agreeing on ..all of them. I just bought this cute sale skirt without trying it on, and turned out it's too big for me ! And now I can't return it, store policy..Oh well, good thing I have a sewing machine.
