Thanksgiving and Black Friday Success

Thanksgiving was a success! Ron and I hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for the first time - I was a little nervous about burning stuff I'm making or not having enough time but starting around 2-3 was perfect. We did not have the typical American Thanksgiving dinner with turkey, ham, stuffing and mashed potatoes. We went the Filipino way because... well, we're Filipinos. LOL Mommy, my sister, sister-in-law and her brother came over and helped us clean out the serving plates ;)

Hours later, we headed to Target to get the stools we wanted (and luckily was a part of their Black Friday deals) and found out that if we get them between 4am-12noon, we get a $10 gift card... so we hid the stools and decided to go back later in the day. LOL

Like Thanksgiving, our Black Friday shopping was a success! Here's our haul...
Cotton On - 50% Off Everything
J. Crew - 50% Off Everything
Stools - 50% off (Normally $100 a box)
Lacoste - 30% Off Everything
Target and Best Buy - Random Good Deals

Also, in this house, we take Christmas seriously. VERY seriously.

We're almost done with gift shopping, a few more presents to go and we can have peace of mind :)

How's your Thanksgiving weekend going?

Have you entered the Thanksgiving Giveaway? It ends soon!
