Let's Make Today a Happy Day

I watched Grey's Anatomy last night and I kind of regret it. If you're a fan and haven't watched it yet, stop reading now and just skip to the next paragraph. One of the characters died (again) and it was bittersweet. This episode is also kind of extra special because that illness that killed the character happened to my grandpa and they played the song Kiss Me by Ed Sheeran (I'm obsessed). So because of the sadness that filled my heart last night, I want today to be a happy day...

Let's get this happy day started...

I mean, I cannot be the ONLY one in the blogworld that does this right? I cracked up when I saw it yesterday before I left the office. I've been "singing" it since when we rented VHS tapes from video stores.

The video below made me smile too. I don't expect this at our big wedding but it definitely made me smile from ear to ear :)

So, what has made you smile today? :)

PS, it's my grandma's birthday today! She's in the Philippines but I got to talk to her last nigh to greet her. :)

  2. When I watched Tom Fletcher's speech, I was in tears watching it. I love how he incorporated all of McFly's biggest hits into the speech.

After I watched it, it got me in a soppy mood and my friends and I spent the afternoon sending each other cute wedding proposals off of Youtube. :3

    Happy Birthday to your Grandma!

  3. I LOVE Grey's it's my favorite show :) Haven't watched the latest episode yet but I keep hearing it's sooo sad.

Today I smiled because I spent all morning talking to my hubs grandfather about his amazing wife who just passed. 56 years of marriage, and they were still crazy about each other. Today I am extremely thankful that I married into such a great family.

Hope you have a wonderful and very happy day :)

    XO,
