To Each Their Own

Not me. Click on the picture for the source. :)
I'm the type of person who always needs a break. At some point in my life, I thought I would never get married because I get annoyed easily (however, this quirk does not have an effect on my relationships). I am serious though, if someone annoys me, I will not talk to that person for days, or weeks, or months (even years). I get tired of people easily and I shut down, keep my guard up and stay in my own circle. Then I regret not listening to what elders told me about choosing friends wisely. OOPS.
No, thank you.
No, thank you.

I'm at the age where I would rather spend time at home on Friday and Saturday nights than drink, get drunk and get all loud and rowdy. I just don't see a point of doing that anymore. I only feel like my twenty-one year-old self when my best girl is back in LA. We both love to chat and finish bottles of wine together then shop the next day. Is anybody else like this? Or am I officially one of the most sober (by choice) people on earth?

Oh well, here's to another sober weekend! ;)

  1. You sound like me :) so no, you're not the only one who doesn't see the point of getting smashed every weekend. Personally I have more fun sober than I suspect my acquaintances ever do when drunk.

  2. I think we've all done our share of drinking and partying, and fun at that can be at the moment, it gets old after a while. Cheers to maturing! ;o)
