Our first stop was at the Grand Central Market. The place has such a rich history, the place has been open since 1917 -- that's nearly a century! There were so many restaurants to choose from, if I didn't know what I was craving for, it would probably take me over fifteen minutes to choose what I'll be eating. They also have stands that sell fresh fruits and vegetables at a low cost. I've wanted to buy from there but I was going to take public transpo and I didn't want to train surf holding a bag of fruits. Oh and Epi stopped by to eat with us during her lunch break.
After Epi was off from work, we met up with her again to have coffee at Barista Society Coffee Boutique. I had their Iced Caramel Latte but it was too good that I inhaled it and didn't have a chance to take a picture of it. That night, I slept at around 3am because that shit was strong.
When they dropped me off at Union Station, I took my time walking to my platform and took a few pictures.
I took this last picture while I was on the platform, waiting for the train. The sky was so pretty that I could not help but take my camera out of my bag again to snap a couple of photos.
Sounds and look like you had a great time
ReplyDeleteI live in Los Angeles but I've never come across this market! It looks so lovely and the coffee looks delicious! So happy I found your blog :) xx

Way to go with all the pictures! I need to start taking more for sure.
ReplyDeleteHaha...Coffee has the same effect on me! I usually can't drink it after 6 or I can never, ever go to sleep.
It looks like it was a fantastic weekend away. Sometimes I feel embarrased getting my camera out to take photos but then Im always so glad I did because I will always have that image as a memory!
ReplyDeleteI've never been to LA and always wanted to go but for some reason, everytime I'm planning a trip, people tell me, "LA is so close, just go another time! Don't waste your breaks on LA." :(
