A Problem You Would Like to Have

Last night, I tweeted about going to Ross and not finding anything that fit me well. I got a bunch of really cute and inexpensive small and medium dresses but everything I got were ill-fitting. Oh and the really cute medium dresses were not available in small, or at least I could not find them. I told my mom about my frustration because the dresses were really cute and she told me that I am now in-between sizes. Oh well, that's my most shallow frustration this week.

The good thing about this is, I will minimize buying things online impulsively. I mean, I can stare at the dresses all day and keep adding items in my cart but I know I will just keep on wondering if the clothes will fit my rib cage. Haha! I swear you guys, my rib cage is huge – I'm a big girl in the first place. I'm planning on going to the San Pedro Wholesale Mart early next month. That should be fun. :)

I looked at the new stores there and found the brand LUSH. I've seen their clothes at many stores at the mall and I can't wait to see their stuff. I checked out their S/S 2013 lookbook and I'm obsessing over these dress and the shorts!

LA Fashion District Haul

Last Saturday, Ron, my mom and my sister-in-law braved the rainy weather to go to the crazy good shopping experience also known as the Los Angeles Fashion District! :) I've made damn sure that we NEED to be there early so we can get super deals. It was my first time to do to the wholesale thing there so I was really excited and ended up waking up before my wake up time on normal days. We got there at 8:30am! Haha!

This is Walking Dead status! Hahaha! Mommy's the one in a vest over a chambray shirt. She's one of the walkers ;)

We also went there for what we call LA hot dogs. Bacon-wrapped hotdogs in buns smothered with caramelized onions and pico de gallo. So freaking amazing. My taste buds were having a party.

We walked a lot that day. I'm so thankful for the weather that I was able to endure the 8-hour walk. 

At 4:30pm, it was time to go home.

So now, time for my haul! :)

Pretty damn good for $25 right? :)

Shopping Adventures + Giveaway Update

Shopping Adventures

A coworker/friend wanted to go shopping last Friday during lunch break so we headed to Ventura Blvd to shop and cute things. We found 3 cute places, Timeless, Sway and Soto. All three stores were very trendy but my favorite is Sway - my thoughts on this store shall be in another blog post. Soto had really cute displays and they were kind of Urban Outfitters-ish with their home decor items. The picture of the boxes below was taken from their store.

The boyfriend needed to buy a suit for a wedding he's attending so we headed to the Los Angeles Fashion District today to find an awesome suit... and he found one! YES! He also got a shirt and jeans along the way while I got some accessories (to add to the giveaway) and a bag!
