My Current Online Shopping Go Tos

I have been window shopping online since last night and and while I'm proud that I have not spent over a hundred on my post holiday shopping (because you know, I'm a star bargain shopper LOL), I'm a little ashamed that I keep wanting to buy stuff when I know that I already have enough as it is. But back to my point, since my mood lately has been "I'd rather be home than anything else," I have been spending a few hours in front of my Ron's laptop, browsing sales, closing tabs, checking out other sales, and so on. My current favorites are Nordstrom.com, HM.com, Topshop.com, and VictoriasSecret.com. Although I'm not going to post about anything I want from VS, because they sell mostly lingerie, here are some of the things I've been eyeing on.

Norsdtrom
Pros: Free shipping and returns. There is always a good bargain. You have almost unlimited choices.
Cons: There's too many to choose from. Haha!

I saw the MK bangle at Nordstrom last week and I almost went crazy and bought it. LOL But I'm just not one who will buy stuff in full price especially when I know that things like it go on sale after a couple of months. Now about the bangle, it's pretty, edgy and classy that I can see myself wearing it all the time.

H&M
Pros: Promo codes from time to time. 25% off one item, code: 6428 and free shipping: 1341.
Cons: They (for the most part) charge for shipping.

As you may have noticed, I am in deep wanting and needing of black pants. I realized this when I just kept wanting to wear my winter leggings all the time (also because I gained tummy fat LOL).

Topshop
Pros: Free shipping and returns. No sales tax. Wide variety.
Cons: Styles can get weird. Delivery takes one to two weeks.

I don't wear a lot of whites but when I do get one, I wear it a lot. I was just thinking, maybe I need another one or two white tops. Maybe.

Alright, lunch time. :)

Shopping Habits

Lately, I realized that my interests have shifted, my priorities have changed and I've learned to point out my needs and my wants.
via Tumblr

I receive all these emails from Groupon and Fab.com, J. Crew and Kate Spade, on a weekly/daily basis. But you know what, I delete pretty much every single one of them, even before I get out of bed in the morning. Then I get to work and I delete more shopping-related emails. They're not necessarily junk to me but I do NOT need them. I do not need all the products featured in their deals and I am happy with what I'm working with right now.

I used to love the more expensive stuff, you know the designer brands. But after some time, I realized that they're impractical. Those bags are heavier than what I actually want to put in them and would probably make my scoliosis worse. Those shoes are stiffer than bankers boxes (the good kind) and can give me blisters right when I try them on. The clothes are dry clean only and knowing myself, I would only wear it once and wait 3 months to take it to the cleaners because I have other clothes that I can wash and wear anytime.

I've also learned to not buy something because it's inexpensive or trendy. Inexpensive usually means that the quality is not as good but it can also mean that you got a pretty good deal. Mint pants for $80 that I will wear thrice in a month vs $30 mint pants from Wetseal's sale rack down to $15 (+20% off)? You probably already know which one I bought. And just FYI, they fit pretty much the same.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE shopping, especially bargain shopping and I'm so happy my husband is too. We enjoy finding good deals together. When something is over $25, I start thinking twice about buying it and ask myself how often I will be wearing that piece of clothing. Honestly, my husband enjoys buying the more expensive stuff for me. He's very generous like that and probably because he knows that I wouldn't bother buying it for myself. ;)

So, how much have you been shopping lately? ;)

Some Fun Inspiration

Every morning, when I dress up for work and pick accessories, I often tell myself: I need more accessories. I never worry about buying them though, I just wear what I have and just tell myself, "Geez, you already have a lot." Like I said, I just often tell myself, I never act on it. This weekend is different though. I have been so inspired by everything I've seen in all these pretty blogs to improve my accessory collection.

Friday.
Saturday.
Sunday.
Can't wait to wear them! :)
