Topshop PH Reactive Lip Tint in Crystal Review

Sorry for my post yesterday, I don't usually implode on stuff I see on Facebook but what I saw yesterday just really made me raise my (left) eyebrow. I'll just take a break from ranting today and talk about this ph reactive lip tint.

Oi, look at me reviewing all these beauty products. Haha! Unemployment has certainly given me enough time to do shit our of the ordinary. I am really intrigued of this PH reactive lip tint products that I had to try it. I am also into trying new shades of lip products so I was all in in trying this. A couple of weeks ago, I ordered Topshop's reactive lip tint (with a pair of mittens to bring to Seattle with me).
The packaging came in Topshop's usual little box for lip products. I really love their makeup's packaging even though it does not match or is not even close to similar to their whole brand's "face." It's very crafty looking, the lines are not clean like how their site and everything else about their brand is designed.
This is how the stick looks like. I am nervous about how this will look on my lips. I am tan, like really tan. I grew up in the Philippines and I now live in California so trust me when I say this color is all natural. Alright, let's give this a try...

Pros
  • Cute packaging - let's just get the superficial factor out of the way!
  • Unscented - this is for you people who are very sensitive to the scent of products you put on your face
  • It's very easy to apply
  • The glitters don't last long. Thank God!

Cons
  • A little bit pricey at $18
  • It doesn't last as long as I want it to
  • Not enough pigment - I'd stick to my Revlon Balm Tints

Will I buy it again? Given that I thought of more pros than cons, I still wouldn't buy it again.I think this is a so-so product. It's definitely one of those things that I got out of curiosity. LOL

My Current Online Shopping Go Tos

I have been window shopping online since last night and and while I'm proud that I have not spent over a hundred on my post holiday shopping (because you know, I'm a star bargain shopper LOL), I'm a little ashamed that I keep wanting to buy stuff when I know that I already have enough as it is. But back to my point, since my mood lately has been "I'd rather be home than anything else," I have been spending a few hours in front of my Ron's laptop, browsing sales, closing tabs, checking out other sales, and so on. My current favorites are Nordstrom.com, HM.com, Topshop.com, and VictoriasSecret.com. Although I'm not going to post about anything I want from VS, because they sell mostly lingerie, here are some of the things I've been eyeing on.

Norsdtrom
Pros: Free shipping and returns. There is always a good bargain. You have almost unlimited choices.
Cons: There's too many to choose from. Haha!

I saw the MK bangle at Nordstrom last week and I almost went crazy and bought it. LOL But I'm just not one who will buy stuff in full price especially when I know that things like it go on sale after a couple of months. Now about the bangle, it's pretty, edgy and classy that I can see myself wearing it all the time.

H&M
Pros: Promo codes from time to time. 25% off one item, code: 6428 and free shipping: 1341.
Cons: They (for the most part) charge for shipping.

As you may have noticed, I am in deep wanting and needing of black pants. I realized this when I just kept wanting to wear my winter leggings all the time (also because I gained tummy fat LOL).

Topshop
Pros: Free shipping and returns. No sales tax. Wide variety.
Cons: Styles can get weird. Delivery takes one to two weeks.

I don't wear a lot of whites but when I do get one, I wear it a lot. I was just thinking, maybe I need another one or two white tops. Maybe.

Alright, lunch time. :)
