elf Essential Lipstain in Crimson Crush Review

After being disappointed at Target's lack of cute cupcake stuff, I found myself roaming around their beauty department. I remembered I needed new waterproof eyeliner and on my way there, I found elf's lip stain. Anything that says "lip stain" always gets me interested. They only cost $2 so I knew I just had to try it.

When I got home, I put it on, ate [a lot], drank water, took a nap, showered, brushed my teeth and my lips still had a touch of its pigment. - that's more or less 5 hours. Mind you, I have very pigmented lips so that says a lot.

Pros
  • only $2 - it's a really good product for $2
  • very pigmented
  • way better than NYC's (16-hour) lip stain - that one does not even stain my lips for 2 hours. I did not even bother reviewing it
  • easy to use because of the felt tip

Cons
  • lips can feel dry after applying but that's what lip balms are for :)

Would I recommend that you try the product? Absolutely.
