To the Best Eldest Sister Ever

The vacation without John and ate Jef. Us against Joshua. Hahaha! (circa 2006)
To the lady who...

...let me use her mechanical pencil when I was four and didn't mind that I chopped all the lead into bits because I didn't know how to push it back.
...prepared lunch for us when our cousins were over and we didn't have a help in the house.
...taught me all about studying away from home.
...showed me that people who do not like kids can become really great parents.
...I laughed with in the jeepney when we saw a guy who looked like a comedian.
...I ran some long distance at a beach in our flipflops, carrying our luggage because the boat was going to leave us and got us mango shakes while waiting for the next boat. Yes, the boat left without us. :(
...would take me to her weekend getaways with her friends because she was my guardian and that's what moms do with their kids.
...can kill 20+ flying cockroaches in one night with just her flip flops. #TRUESTORY
...texted me to ask what I'll do if I found out she was pregnant when I was 17. She was pregnant.
...sends me the BEST junkfood from the Philippines.
...taught me about the importance of being the better person. Stay classy, my sister.
...taught me all about multitasking.
...has two adorable kids.
...proved that one can't have too many underwear.
...USED to be the WORST cook and baker ever but turned into an AMAZING culinary expert. How can we forget the bland food,  and the tasteless jello you made (that only I ate out of respect)?!

To my sister, best friend and partner in crime,
I wish you the best birthday in the world! Being your sister is one of the BIGGEST blessings in my life. You were honestly never the person who became so happy with material things and I'm so glad that rubbed off on me. Your simplicity is something special, I tell ya. Thank you so much for always being there for me even if we're miles and miles away from each other. I'll keep praying for you and the family so that all the bits of your plans fall into place. Please remember that I'll always be here with Ron for you and your urge to play Call of Duty. I love you so much and I miss your face.

PS
Nagsimba ka ba sa happy birthday mo? #InsideJoke
