Regular Programming

We're back to regular programming here and hopefully, it stays this way until I can actually get used to this work and school lifestyle again. So far, my brain is not handling it too well. I've been feeling stressed because I was catching up on my homework...which I thought only required me to read two chapters. As it turns out, we also need to submit an actual homework in class. So I crammed...and knowing myself, I'm not into that cramming shit. I used to be so good at it in high school but I'm not in high school anymore so you could just imagine how pissed I was at the world last night. o_O

On a more positive note, we had an amazing time in the Northwest.
Yep, it was sunnier in Seattle (than in LA) last Friday. :)
Although it was not exactly a relaxing trip because we tried hard to squeeze in as many things to do as possible, the trip was still a great getaway from LA. I think the only down time we had was when we were on the road when we had a chance to take a nap. I always try to stay up though so someone is awake with the driver but I failed on that for the most part. I can't wait to share pictures from there!

Fox stayed with mom the entire weekend, including Friday and I was so worried for the both of them. Mom hates the cold and rain and Fox hates walking under the rain and those two things about each creature made me worry about how Fox would do #1 and #2 during the storm. They made it through though and Ron and I are super glad they did! :) Fox was even able to go to doggie day camp on Friday while mommy was at work.

Gotta go now, I'm done eating lunch and I shall continue working. Laters.

The Weekend and the Grammys

I tried Lazy Dog for the first time last weekend and it was soooo good! We had sweet potato tater tots for the first time and it was bomb! It came with jalapeno-lime aioli as if the tots were not good enough! I also stole a few fries from the kids' plate. ;) The main dish I ordered was the Vegetarian Lasagna and it was #)(^$#)&^$! Yes, that good.
We stayed over at out friends, DaddyC and MommyN's house and as soon as Ron woke up on Saturday, he was gone to continue building his mountain bike. Oh him and his toys. I also got to play with this cutie again! We spent some good quality time because I didn't have Ron to compete with playing time with her ;)
Ron and I ended up going home after dinner on Saturday [just so you know, this going-home-later-than-planned-thing happens normally when someone stays over at their place]. Their house is a fun time!

Sunday was amazing because aside from the trip to the Filipino market, we stayed home for the rest of the day. With Walking Dead back on AMC and the Grammys, Ron's TV eyes were exploding with happiness. He also took these pictures when we were preparing to sleep. Apprently, my arm did some exhibition while I was posing (in the first picture).

Ron got the frog last week. He knows I love frogs because they remind me of him for some reason. It's cute. I was trying to do a frog impression in the second photo which I failed to do.

Just Another Winter Day

The weekend was pretty short for Ron and I. No really, it was. I took Friday off for a 3-day class/seminar with Ron and I ended up not coming to class/seminar/sales pitch on Sunday. Thank God Ron was okay with it and I felt better when he came home early as well. LOL It was all good though, I got to go on lunch dates and dinner dates with the husband. The Lakers also finally has a big win so that's a big plus! :)

My phone, the sky and my car. We were having transition weather yesterday. From rainy to sunny.
We went to the bike shop on Sunday. I had no idea what the things are on there so I just watched the guy assemble some of the parts of Ron's mountain bike. Yes, Ron is in two basketball leagues, snowboards, goes to the gym at least 4 times a week and also rides mountain bikes. Maybe now you have an idea why I'm obsessing about getting fit?

Believe it or not, before Ron put the tires in the trunk, I tried hula hooping with it. Hahaha!
Ron and his bike frame and fork. I think that's called the fork. I THINK.

Fine Time

First of all, I would like to tell you that I'm sorry for not being around as much. I now do not know how working married bloggers (especially the ones with kids) stay on top of their blogs. Hands down to you, ladies. I don't have work today though, so #LetsDoThis.

Second, I met Bill Nye the Science Guy. HERE is the pic ;)

Third, I spent some fine time with my sister this weekend. She stayed over on Friday because she needed to go to a medical class that is closer to our house than hers. It's always fun spending time with her because there are a lot of things that we both love...like making fun of each other ;)

After her class on Saturday, we spent the afternoon watching HGTV shows and drinking wine while Ron was taking a nap next to us. When Ron woke up at around 7pm, (aka after 3 episodes of Love It or List It), my sister and I fell asleep. Hahaha! This is seriously something we tend to do. When one sees the other sleeping, it becomes contagious. At around 8:40, Ron woke us up and said it's time to go to bed. I was complaining that it was only 8:40 but as soon as my head hit the bed, I knocked out. 12 hours later, I woke up and made breakfast. Unfortunately, we did not take any pictures. I told her this so she sent me a picture of her and Epi.

After she left, Ron got a call from a friend and when he hung up, he asked if I wanted to go with him. I said yes without even asking where we're going and what we're doing. When we got to the basketball gym, there were lights and it was a full on commercial shoot. We did not have an idea it was THAT professional.
Poser picture. I don't watch nor play this sport. It's a gift. Hehe.
Food for five. Not even kidding. Our eyes were bigger than our tummies.
These are pictures from the set. Ron was so funny and cute ;)
I'll be co-hosting a fun link up for Valentine's Day with Melissa! I'll tell you more about it later this week. There's also a pretty awesome giveaway coming soon so keep an eye out!

Sooo, how was your weekend? :)
